Getting started
Is Gigcult free?
Yes. Gigcult is free on the web, iPhone and Android.
Which devices does Gigcult work on?
Any web browser at gigcult.app, plus the iPhone and Android apps. Your diary syncs between all of them.
Which languages is Gigcult available in?
English, Spanish, French and Portuguese. The app follows your device language, and you can change it in Settings.
Can I look around before signing up?
Yes. Show, artist, city and venue pages are public. You need an account to log shows, rate them or follow anyone.
Logging shows
How do I log a show?
Tap Log a show, search for the artist, venue or city, pick the date, and save. You can add a rating, a review, photos and the setlist now or later.
What if my show is not listed?
Add it yourself from the log screen with the artist, venue and date. It works like any other show in your diary.
Can I log shows I went to years ago?
Yes. Search by artist and pick the date; past concerts are listed going back decades. Logging your history is the best way to start.
What is the difference between going, interested and attended?
Going and interested are for upcoming shows; you get a reminder and see who else is going. Once the show has happened it moves to attended, ready for your rating.
Can I add a setlist?
Yes. If a show you logged has no setlist, you can add one, in the order the songs were played.
Privacy
Who can see my diary?
You choose for every entry: public, followers only, or private.
Does my name appear on public show pages?
No. Public reviews, photos and ratings appear on show pages without your name.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings and choose Delete account. Your diary, photos and profile are removed.
Friends and artists
How do I follow an artist?
Open the artist and tap Follow. You will hear when they announce new dates.
How do I find friends?
Use Explore and switch to People to search for them, or share your profile link.
Can I share a show?
Yes. Every show can be shared as a ticket stub, poster or laminate card, with a link back to the show.
